Car #11 T. Neuville - M.Wydaeghe (Hyundai i20 N Rally1): "Now it is obviously much cleaner, but more abrasive than expected, especially in the second part. I was managing the tyres through. I have no clue if it was enough, too much or too slow. I do not know, my tyres are not in good shape and I did not expect it to be so abrasive”

Car #33 E. Evans - S. Martin (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1): "[looked out to avoid rocks?]A bit for sure. It was quite OK. Things are not going great at the minute but we are through”

Car #8 O. Tänak - M. Järveoja (Hyundai i20 N Rally1): “Difficult to say, I was managing the tyres a lot to have some rubber for the last stage. Maybe a bit too slow. At least it was a clean stage and no big drama. [What do you do? It looks flat out...] It is managing...”

Car #17 S. Ogier - V. Landais (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1): "I liked it but in this one, but we could not really push. It was a clean drive. It is so abrasive, so I had to save the tyres”.

Car #6 D. Sordo - C. Carrera (Hyundai i20 N Rally1): “I was really bad this morning and now a little bit because it is hard for tyres, we took four tyres. It is a bit risky, but we thought it would be a bit better in the end. Let's see [if] the compromise [works out], but you think too much about the tyres and can't push as normal”.

Car #8 O. Tänak - M. Järveoja (Hyundai i20 N Rally1): “I tried very hard but it is very slippery and loose especially in the narrow parts it is difficult to get traction we worked very hard here it is a long stage but as first stage it is a  good one ”

Car #27 A. Fourmaux - A.Coria (Ford Puma Rally1): ” Difficult because I have narrow lines the first part is so enjoyable but it requires a lot of commitment I tried to push hard I don’t want the same position for tomorrow ”

Car #17 S. Ogier - V. Landais (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1): " Cleaning a lot and we avoided many rocks the grip is getting better and better so very possible that car are faster behind.””

Car #6 D. Sordo - C. Carrera (Hyundai i20 N Rally1): “ Very hard for the tyres I tried to be clean but I feel I did not do a good stage see how the tyres are I will have a look”

Car #31 J. Solans - R. Sanjuan (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2): “Not a good stage I spun  very slippery much more than expected so very hard to manage”

Car #26 L. Joona - J. Hussi (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2): “Horrible stage for me, very slippery I braked too much because the pedal is very hot now. Next stage is very different and we have to organise it better. ”

Car #27 G. Linnmäe - J. Morgan (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2): “Very tricky stage it was decent I could not get a good rhythm we keep tying ”

Car #47 J. McErlean - J. Fulton (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2): “ It was ok half way we hit a bank so we took ii easier after that, very hard to know what the rhythm is like.”
