A technical and spectacular test featuring rhythm changes, elevation shifts and a stunning view of Tavolara Island in the final section of its 13.78 km, broadcast live on TV.

Olbia, 15 April 2025 – Tavolara Island will be one of the icons of the 2025 Rally Italia Sardegna. A postcard-worthy landscape symbol chosen by the Automobile Club d’Italia as the visual highlight of this year’s edition, which will bring the FIA World Rally Championship back to Italy from 4 to 8 June, supported by the Regione Sardegna.

The second stage of Sunday’s final leg, “Porto San Paolo”, will offer a striking view over Tavolara. It’s one of two brand-new tests this year and measures 13.78 km. The second run will host the event’s final Power Stage, a timed section packed with rhythm changes and technical segments that could make the difference, ending with a dramatic coastal panorama.

Located just a few kilometres from Olbia, the stage begins in Achittora, shortly after the village of La Castagna. The opening section is medium-fast and slightly uphill with a narrow road. A left-hand hairpin leads away from the road towards Vaccileddi. Crews enter private property and head up a tight gravel track before descending again. The road climbs once more into a brand-new segment, winding across rolling terrain before cresting and dropping down towards Tiriddò in a slow, twisty section.

The road narrows again, and after a tight hairpin, the descent ends with a short climb where the surface becomes sandy. This leads onto a plateau with a wider road, opening up a breathtaking high-altitude stretch overlooking Tavolara and Molara Islands.

The final part of the stage features a series of downhill hairpins before reaching a flat, fast zone with a few spectacular jumps. The test ends in Porto San Paolo, once again framed by the dramatic silhouette of Tavolara in the background.

The stage will be run twice on Sunday June 8th: the first pass is scheduled for 08:35, while the second—set as the Power Stage and final test of the 2025 Rally Italia Sardegna—will run at 13:15.
