The 22^nd  edition of the race, scheduled from 5 to 8 June, includes a total of 16 special stages and 324 timed kilometres with a return to the classic three-day race format. The location of the event, organised by the Automobile Club d'Italia in partnership with the Region of Sardinia, returns this year to Olbia.

The 22^nd  edition of Rally Italia Sardegna will be full of novelties, with the return of some special stages of the past, and first of all the format that will be again the classic one with the race divided into three days. The race will comprise a total of 16 special stages and 324 timed kilometres, with the location of the event, organised by the Automobile Club d'Italia in partnership with the Region of Sardinia, moving this year again to Olbia. The adventure of Rally Italia Sardegna will continue this time with a compact route, practically all concentrated in Gallura and Monte Acuto. Four months before the start of the race, with the publication of the Rally Guide 1, the route that will host the various special stages has in fact been unveiled, a route that has seen confirmation of the choice of the last eight editions to host the entire race in the north of the island. The event, the sixth round of the 2025 World Rally Championship, also valid for the WRC 2 and WRC 3 World Championship and the Italian Gravel Championship, is scheduled from 5 to 8 June. There are 16 special stages on the programme, divided into three days for a total of 324.64 timed km all on gravel. The location returns this year to Olbia with the Service Park set up at the Isola Bianca, which, due to the unavailability of the Molo Brin because of some workings being carried out there, will be located at the Maritime Station, while the Accreditation Centre and the Sports Secretariat will be located at the Archaeological Museum.

THE ROUTE.
The 22^nd  Rally Italia Sardegna features a compact route, starting on Thursday 5 June with the new Shakedown hosted in the city of Olbia at Cabu Abbas (2.19 km). On Friday 6 June in the morning at 8.15 am the start of the first leg set in Gallura and Monte Acuto, consisting of 122.66 timed kilometres and six special stages, those repeated twice in Arzachena (in fact La Prugnola) of 14.90 km, the new SS of Calangianus-Berchidda (18.60 km), and Sa Conchedda (27.83 km), which partly follows the special stage of Monti di Alà. In the middle of the day there will be a Service Park in Olbia. Then on Saturday, 7 June, the second leg will be 122.80 timed kilometres long, all disputed in Monte Acuto, divided into a further six special stages. Those repeated twice of Coiluna-Loelle (21.19 km), Lerno-Su Filigosu (24.32 km) and Tula-Erula (15.89 km). All classic stages of Rally Italia Sardegna, which will have some different sections than in the past. Finally, on Sunday 8 June, the final day of 79.18 timed kilometres, totally new because it features two largely unedited time trials to be repeated twice. The first, San Giacomo-Plebi (25.74 km), returns after more than ten years, but only partly follows the route taken in the past, while the second, Porto San Paolo (13.85 km), which will host the final Power Stage, is completely new and features wide sea views and the enchanting profile of the island of Tavolara in the background. The final podium is scheduled in Olbia at 4.00 pm. 

INITIATIVES.
Once again this year there will be the interesting RIS Experience initiative, reserved for companies, with special areas on payment for spectators who wish to take advantage of it and hospitality on the Special Stages. In addition, thanks to the renewal of the interesting agreement with Grimaldi Lines, special discounts will still be available: a 30% discount on Olbia and Porto Torres destinations for competitors and spectators.
